Water Ski Park (SUKAY)

SUKAY is a cable water ski center operating on the coast of Bandırma Beach in Samsun's Canik district. It is the first example of its kind on the Black Sea coast and also holds the distinction of being the first cable water ski facility built on the sea in Turkey. Thanks to the cable system, wakeboarding and water skiing can be done without the use of a motorboat; this offers a suitable environment for both experienced athletes and those trying the sport for the first time.

The active season of the facility largely coincides with the summer months, extending from June to September. During these months, the water temperature of the Black Sea becomes suitable for swimming, and weather conditions are quite favorable for water sports. The facility is located on Doğupark Coastal Road in Samsun's Canik district, right next to the Bandırma Museum Ship. You can easily reach it by car from Samsun city center by following the Canik coastal road. If you prefer public transport, you can use the city lines going to Canik coast, get off at the Bandırma Museum Ship stop, and walk. If you come by car, finding parking on the coastal strip is relatively easy.

The Canik coastal strip where SUKAY is located is one of Samsun's most organized recreational areas. Within walking distance of the facility are the large green areas of Doğupark, walking and cycling paths, and the Bandırma Museum Ship. Cafes and resting areas along the coast offer convenient options for spending time after water sports.

1.5 to 3 hours will be sufficient for a water ski or wakeboard session. Those who want to plan a longer day can create a half-day activity route by adding a visit to Doğupark, which is right next to the facility, and a coastal walk to their program.

Since water sports require physical activity, it is recommended that individuals with heart conditions or orthopedic problems consult their doctors before participating. Although safety equipment for the cable system operating on the sea is provided by the facility, it would be wise to confirm this before going.
