When to Visit Kahramanmaraş?

Kahramanmaraş is a city that offers different faces in different seasons. Spring months (April-May) are one of the most beautiful periods for the city; the weather is mild, nature is green, and tourist spots are not yet crowded. During this period, you can comfortably visit historical sites and take an early exploration tour of the plateaus.

The city center can be quite hot in summer months; however, a cool and refreshing air awaits you in high-altitude spots like Başkonuş Plateau. If you want to camp or hike in the plateaus, July-August is an ideal period. In winter months, Yedikuyular Ski Center becomes active, making the city a distinct attraction for ski enthusiasts. Autumn, especially October, stands out as a balanced period for visiting in terms of both weather and crowds.
