Hızır Bey Mosque is located in the Kozluk district center, affiliated with Batman. According to its inscription, it was built in 1512 by Hızır Bey, son of Ebubekir Roşki, Bey of Sason and Hezo (Kozluk). It is also known as Hıdır Bey Mosque and holds the distinction of being the largest mosque in Kozluk.
The structure is situated southwest of Kozluk Castle, within the historical fabric of the district. This mosque, which you encounter while strolling through the streets of Kozluk, is one of the few works that recall the region's settlement history dating back to the 16th century with its simple stone architecture.
