In spring, from April to June, the surrounding plateau turns green, the air temperature is ideal for hiking, and lighting conditions are very favorable for photography. September and October offer similar advantages; temperatures have started to drop, and the vegetation has taken on autumn colors.

In the afternoon, you can visit Uçmak Waterfall, located within the same district. The waterfall, with its nature-immersed atmosphere, is a beautiful stop to shake off the day's fatigue. On your way back, you can experience the flavors of Afyon cuisine at a local restaurant in Şuhut town center. It is also possible to make a short detour to the Phrygian Valley route on your way back to Afyonkarahisar.
