The most favorable times to visit Böcü İnleri Church are April-May and September-October. It is possible to find minibuses or shared taxis from Afyonkarahisar to İhsaniye; however, public transport connections to Kıyır Village are extremely limited. Böcü İnleri Church is a real treasure for photography enthusiasts. The church entrances carved into the tuff rocks offer dramatic shadow and light play in the morning hours when sunlight falls at certain angles. Böcü İnleri Church was built between the 8th and 10th centuries, during the early medieval period of the Byzantine era. The structures contain important clues about the spread of Christianity in the inner parts of Anatolia and the tradition of monastic communities seeking refuge in rocky areas during this period.

Each of the three church structures is covered with a vaulted ceiling; the arched niches on the side walls stand out as both functional and aesthetic elements.
