Kültürpark Open-Air Theatre

Located in the northern part of Bursa's Reşat Oyal Kültürpark, this open-air stage is one of the city's largest capacity event venues. With a total capacity of 5,000 people, including 3,500 seated and 1,500 standing, the theatre operates with a lively program for most of the year. With a wide range of content, from concerts to musicals, dance competitions to festivals, it opens its doors not only to a specific audience but to Bursans of all ages.

As it is an open-air theatre, events are predominantly concentrated in the period from late April to early October. Concerts starting after dark in the summer months offer a very pleasant atmosphere as the heat subsides. There are various cafes and food spots within and near Kültürpark. For those who want a light snack before an event, the kiosks inside the park might suffice. If you want a more comprehensive dining experience, it is more logical to head to the central streets of Osmangazi or around Heykel Square.

The front of the stage and the tribune entrances of the theatre offer beautiful shots, especially during twilight hours before an event begins. When the stage lighting comes on, the light plays created in the background provide an interesting backdrop for night photography.

The pond, tree-lined paths, and historical mansions within Kültürpark are also valuable spots for photography. For those who want to capture a crowded atmosphere on event days, the first half-hour as the tribunes start to fill up offers a good opportunity.

The event program is constantly updated; it is important to follow official ticket platforms (Biletix etc.) and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality cultural announcements before coming. Tickets for popular artists' concerts can sell out well in advance.

As it is an open-air venue, even on summer nights, it might be useful to have a light outer garment. Traffic around the theatre intensifies during event hours; it is recommended to be at the venue at least 30–45 minutes before the event starts. Food and drink entry into the venue may be restricted depending on the event.

Entry to the theatre itself is free; however, tickets must be purchased to attend events. Ticket prices vary widely depending on the artist's popularity and seating category. For affordable options, it is wise to follow the event early and take advantage of early bird discounts.
