The journey from Harran to Shuayb is approximately 38 km. After planning a 2-hour tour of the ancient city, you can return to Şanlıurfa in the afternoon and visit Balıklıgöl and the historical bazaar in the evening. This way, you will have seen Şanlıurfa's Mesopotamian heritage quite comprehensively in one day.

Shuayb Ancient City is a true open-air studio for photography enthusiasts. Basalt stone walls, narrow ancient streets, and ruined but still standing structures offer interesting shots from every angle. Especially in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun is low, the play of light and shadow on the stones adds depth to the photos.
The water wells inside the houses, courtyard gates, and grid-plan street perspectives are among the most preferred shooting points.
