Selman Dede Tomb and its picnic area can be visited all year round; however, the period between April and September, when the pine forest is most vibrant, makes the trip significantly more enjoyable. Visitors state that the area gets crowded on weekends and recommend visiting on weekdays for a calmer experience.

The Selman Dede Festivals, held annually on July 7th, are the most important gathering day in the region. If you visit on this date, you can experience both the spiritual atmosphere and the festive mood; however, the area will be much more crowded on that day, and parking may fill up.

Selman Dede Tomb is located in the Bayraktepe area, part of Hendek district in Sakarya, at the foothills of Çam Mountain on the Hendek-Karasu (Kocaali) road. It can be reached by following this route from Hendek town center.

While access by public transport is possible, going by private car is much more practical. It is stated that there is sufficient parking in the area; however, it is still recommended to set off early on weekends.

According to visitor comments, there used to be a small zoo in the area; however, this section has been removed. If you are planning to visit the area for this purpose, it would be good to confirm in advance to avoid disappointment.
