Zaimağa Mansion is a two-story Ottoman structure located in the Sivrihisar district of Eskişehir. Built with stone and wood craftsmanship, it spans an area of approximately 2000 square meters. Its true significance comes not from its architecture, but from the date March 24, 1922: Mustafa Kemal summoned the Executive Committee to Sivrihisar to evaluate the armistice proposal from the Allied Powers, and the meeting was held in this mansion. This was the first Council of Ministers meeting held outside Ankara.
The mansion was restored as part of the Sivrihisar Municipality's "History Lives Here" project and reopened as the Museum of Liberation. Inside, two layers intertwine: on one side, documents and artifacts from the Turkish War of Independence period, and on the other, everyday objects reflecting the local culture of Sivrihisar. It is possible to see the mansion's period furnishings and wooden craftsmanship firsthand. A guide is available at the entrance; visitors find the guide's explanations particularly helpful. Advance reservations are recommended for group visits.
