Cimşit Bey Hamam is a 16th-century Ottoman bathhouse located adjacent to Sarahatun Mosque in Harput Neighborhood, Elazığ. With its domed changing section and four-iwan bathing area, it is an example of Harput's historical architecture.
Cimşit Bey Hamam was built by Cimşit Bey, one of Sultan Selim I's cavalry commanders, in the first half of the 16th century. It stands adjacent to Sarahatun Mosque in Harput Neighborhood; in fact, its bathing section directly abuts the mosque wall. There is no inscription on the structure, so there is no stone indicating its exact construction date; the dating was done by examining the architectural features of the period.
The changing area is square-planned and covered with a dome, with two doors. The bathing section has a four-iwan plan, with domed private cells in each corner. Today, the bathhouse is not actively used. It is a structure visited like an open-air museum along with other historical buildings in Harput.
