The Pınarbaşı spring, which feeds the waterfall, is situated at an altitude of 1,020 meters; this keeps the water quite cold and clear throughout the year. The old name of the neighborhood is Homa, and due to the water quality, the region was also named Gümüşsu (Silver Water). Offering a small but striking view with its approximately 30-meter drop, the waterfall and its surroundings are also located in a geography suitable for activities such as nature photography, paragliding, and jeep safari.
Visitors note that they cannot immediately see the main waterfall from where they park their vehicles; a short climb is required to see the main cascade flowing amidst the greenery. In the area organized by the municipality, there is a small business selling tea and snacks, along with seating benches. Visitors say that drinking tea while listening to the sound of the waterfall and having a family picnic are among the greatest pleasures here. The water can decrease a bit in mid-summer; spring and early summer months are a better option for the fullest view. Located approximately 20 kilometers from Çivril center, the waterfall is also very suitable for creating a half-day itinerary by combining it with Işıklı Lake, which is on the same route.

Best Time to Visit
The waterfall is at its most powerful and visually stunning between April and June; the Pınarbaşı spring, fed by melting snow and rainfall, reaches its highest flow during these months. Although the water volume significantly decreases in July and August, summer visits are also quite common as the surrounding wooded area provides shade and cool air. Visitors say that coming here offers a significant cooling opportunity, especially during the scorching heat of the Çivril plain. If you come on weekdays, you will find silence and peace more easily.
How to Get There
By Car: From Denizli city center, follow the Ankara highway for 30 km, then turn north from Kaklık neighborhood onto the Denizli-Uşak road. Drive 60 km on this road to reach Çivril district. From Çivril, take the Isparta-Uşak highway for about 10 km to Işıklı neighborhood, then proceed 20 km further east to Gümüşsu neighborhood. The waterfall is just north of the neighborhood; from the road turn-off, the asphalt road continues climbing towards the mountain. Those coming from Dinar can follow the Uşak highway for approximately 26 km to reach Gümüşsu.
By Public Transport: Minibus services are available from Denizli bus station to Çivril. There is also a minibus connection from Çivril to Gümüşsu neighborhood.
Photo Spots
When you first arrive at the parking area, the view you see is not the entire waterfall. You need to make a short climb to photograph the main cascade and the water flowing amidst the greenery. Once you reach the upper part, the waterfall creates a much more striking backdrop with the light filtering through the trees. In the morning, mist and soft light are ideal for photography. Wide-angle lenses are very useful for those who want to frame the waterfall in the narrow valley.
Food and Drink
There is a small municipal business in the waterfall area. Visitors state that basic refreshments such as tea, toast, and french fries are sold here. For a more comprehensive dining experience, you need to return to Çivril town center. Seating benches are available in the area for those who want to picnic; bringing your own food and drinks will make your visit much more comfortable.

Homa Waterfall can easily be combined with other natural beauties around Çivril. Işıklı Lake, located approximately 15 minutes from the waterfall, is a large wetland offering boat tours. Visitors say that taking a boat tour on Işıklı Lake first and then visiting the waterfall makes for a nice half-day program. Since Beycesultan Mound is also on the same route, it is possible to plan a full-day itinerary for history enthusiasts.
Things to Consider
Although the road to the waterfall is asphalt, it continues climbing towards the mountain; be careful when driving with low-clearance vehicles. Wear comfortable shoes as the ground can be slippery during the climb. Since the water volume decreases in summer, it's good to adjust your expectations accordingly. Visitors mention that there are toilets in the area. Take your picnic waste with you; it is everyone's responsibility not to harm the environment.
