Çanakkale Epic Presentation Center is located in the Kabatepe area of Eceabat, spread over an area of 20 thousand square meters. The building is entirely underground. The two monumental walls at the entrance symbolize the Asian and European shores of the Dardanelles; the three columns on the dark wall represent the soldier's faith, courage, and love for the homeland. Opened to visitors on June 7, 2012, the center narrates the war both chronologically and thematically.
Inside, there are 11 separate animation halls, some with moving platforms. The audio-visual presentation lasts 65 minutes. For foreign visitors, narration is provided via headphones in English, German, French, Russian, Japanese, Italian, and Arabic. The most striking piece is the blood-stained uniform of Captain Eşref Efendi, who was martyred in the Gallipoli Campaign. The transfer paper attached to his jacket when he was brought to the hospital wounded, and the epaulets donated by his family, are also on display with his photograph.
