When to Visit?
The most suitable period for Ayazma Beach is between late June and early September. In July and August, the number of visitors to Bozcaada increases significantly; the beach gets crowded, and finding sun loungers becomes difficult. If you want a calmer holiday, mid-June or September would be a much better choice. Since the sea water remains cool compared to many beaches in the Aegean, you immediately feel the coolness when you enter the water, even in mid-summer.
How to Get to Ayazma Beach?
To reach Ayazma Beach, you first need to come to Çanakkale city center. Regular ferry services operate from Çanakkale to Bozcaada. After disembarking from the pier, you can reach the beach by minibuses departing from in front of the courthouse. The per-person minibus fare is approximately 140 TL; we recommend confirming the current fare with the minibus operators. The distance to Çanakkale city center is approximately 80 kilometers.
How Much Time Should You Allocate?
While half a day might be enough for Ayazma Beach alone, if you want to see all of Bozcaada, it would be more appropriate to plan at least one full day, preferably an overnight stay. For those who also want to see Aquarium Bay near the beach, an additional hour should be factored in. Since there are other places to visit on the island such as vineyards, a historical castle, and a bazaar, planning a Bozcaada trip for one to two days is much more efficient.

Ayazma Beach's turquoise water offers a great background for photos, especially in the morning hours when the sun is bright. Angles where the pine trees at the back of the beach and the sea are seen together are among the most preferred photo spots on the beach.
