How to Get to Gelidonya Lighthouse?
From Antalya city center, reach Kumluca via the D400 highway. From Kumluca, head towards Adrasan and descend to Adrasan village. Adrasan is the most common starting point on the Lycian Way; from here, you can reach the lighthouse by following the red-and-white marked Lycian Way signs.
Those who wish to drive can proceed via Karaöz village. Since the dirt road leading from Karaöz to the path to the lighthouse is narrow and bumpy, it is recommended to use a high-clearance vehicle, preferably a 4x4. You will have to complete the final section on foot in any case. It is also possible to reach Karaöz from Adrasan by minibus or taxi.

Adrasan is a small but lively coastal town. You can find fresh seafood, gözleme (Turkish flatbread), and various dishes from Mediterranean cuisine at the restaurants and cafes lined along the beach. Having a meal overlooking the sea in Adrasan after your hike can be one of the best ways to end the day.
Things to Consider Before Visiting
The hiking route to Gelidonya Lighthouse, especially the section up to the summit, passes through rocky and steep terrain. Sturdy hiking shoes are absolutely necessary; going out with sneakers or sandals can be dangerous. Take full sun protection measures (sunscreen, hat, long-sleeved thin shirt).
Since there are no facilities along the route, it is recommended to carry at least 2-3 liters of water per person. The lighthouse building is an active maritime structure, so entry is not permitted. While the surrounding coves and sea are quite clean, suitable footwear might be useful for swimming due to rocky entrances.
