Karagöz Museum

Located on Çekirge Street in Bursa's Osmangazi district, the Karagöz Museum sheds light on the origins, development, and current place of Turkish shadow play art. Since 2007, it has invited visitors into the legendary world of Karagöz and Hacivat.

The museum not only offers historical information; it also brings the artistic dimension of shadow play to life by exhibiting character figures made from cow and camel hides, original screens, and stages. As it also functions as an art house, it has become an active cultural center with guided tours, live play performances, and educational activities.
