The most suitable period to visit Sarımsaklı Beach is the summer season, extending from mid-June to the end of September. July and August are the busiest months for the beach; during these months, finding sun loungers can be difficult, and parking occupancy rates increase. If you are looking for a quieter holiday, early June or September would be an ideal choice: the sea water is still warm enough, and the crowds are significantly smaller.

The imbat wind, unique to the Aegean, starts blowing in the afternoon and makes even hot summer days bearable. Early mornings are very suitable for both taking photos and avoiding crowds.

Sarımsaklı Beach is located approximately 8 kilometers from Ayvalık town center. Those coming from İzmir can reach Sarımsaklı via Çandarlı or Dikili in approximately 2.5-3 hours.

One of Sarımsaklı's most striking photo spots is Şeytan Sofrası (Devil's Table), located very close to the beach. From this high point, the panoramic view extending to the Aegean islands and the coastline offers a breathtaking sight, especially at sunset. The inadequacy of social infrastructure facilities such as showers, toilets, and prayer rooms on the beach is sometimes expressed by visitors; therefore, it is recommended to plan your needs in advance.
