Kuzuluk Forest Recreation Area can be visited all four seasons of the year; however, spring and autumn are the periods when the forest looks most vibrant. Although shaded areas are attractive for escaping the heat in summer, the facility is packed on weekends. Visitors report difficulty finding a spot on busy weekends. If you come on a weekday, you will find a calmer environment and have the chance to choose gazebos. In winter, a small group trip can be made for the forest's silence and fresh air.

The facility is located on the Adapazarı-Akyazı-Mudurnu highway, 8 km from Akyazı town center and 34 km from Adapazarı. Its location on the road makes access easy for those coming by car. Those preferring public transport can use minibuses departing from Akyazı towards Kuzuluk; it is recommended to call Akyazı bus station for current schedules. If you are coming from Sakarya city center, you need to go to Akyazı first, and then towards Kuzuluk.

Since there are barbecue areas within the facility, the vast majority of visitors bring their own food. Some visitors describe enjoying tea brewed in a samovar in the silence of the forest; therefore, it is recommended to bring your tea set and snacks. Various restaurants and cafes are available in the Kuzuluk region and Akyazı town center; it would be healthier to inquire in advance about food and drink options within the facility.

Kuzuluk's forest atmosphere, especially with its spring greens and autumn yellows, provides a beautiful backdrop for photography. Light filtering through the trees, gazebos, and the natural landscape are among the preferred shots. One visitor states that each season offers a different visual feast. Morning hours are more advantageous for wide-angle and macro shots, in terms of fog and soft light.

Visitor comments frequently mention that a fee is charged per car upon entry to the facility, and a fee is also requested from pedestrians; it would be advisable to call the facility entrance or Akyazı Municipality in advance for current rates. On weekends, it can be very crowded, and some groups reserving multiple tables are a common complaint; arriving early increases your chances of finding a spot. Opinions on toilet cleanliness are divided: some say they are spotless, while others report insufficient care.

Kuzuluk Forest Recreation Area opened in 1996 and operates as a facility affiliated with the General Directorate of Forestry. The 11.85-hectare area includes amenities such as gazebos, barbecue areas, children's playgrounds, walking paths, a mosque, a fountain, and restrooms. Its proximity to Kuzuluk thermal springs offers visitors to the region the opportunity to combine nature walks and picnics with a thermal spring visit.
