The most suitable period to visit Belcekiz Beach is late May to early October. June and September are periods when sea temperatures are suitable for swimming, and crowds are much more reasonable compared to the July-August peak. Considering that the beach capacity is pushed to its limits in mid-summer, arriving early will make it easier to find sunbeds.

Paragliding flights depend on weather conditions; flights may be canceled on windy days. Although the weather is cool in April and November, the beach can be explored in a deserted silence.

Ölüdeniz minibuses depart regularly from Fethiye bus terminal or city center and drop off passengers at the Belcekiz stop. Minibus services operate frequently throughout the season; therefore, it is possible to reach the beach without having to rent a car.

Those coming by private car should follow the Ölüdeniz sign from the D400 highway. Although there are paid parking areas around the beach, it can be difficult to find a spot in mid-summer. The distance from Fethiye city center is approximately 10-16 km.

Belcekiz Beach offers multiple shooting opportunities for photography enthusiasts. In the morning, the silhouette of Babadağ reflected on the beach, combined with the turquoise water, creates a powerful composition. At noon, colorful paragliders gliding in the sky turn the beach into a natural backdrop.

Wide-angle shots taken from the eastern end of the beach towards the west allow you to fit the length of the beach and the green slopes in the background into the same frame. At sunset, the reflection of golden tones along the coast offers another opportunity for photography.

Along Belcekiz Beach and in Ölüdeniz Neighborhood, there are numerous restaurants, cafes, and beach bars. In addition to restaurants offering menus mainly of fish and seafood, there are also more modest establishments selling pide, gözleme, and light snacks.

Beach bars offer quick options like cold drinks and sandwiches. Since restaurants in the region are quite crowded during the summer season, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance for dinner.

Belcekiz Beach can be comfortably explored with a half-day visit alone. However, when combined with nearby destinations such as Ölüdeniz Blue Lagoon, Butterfly Valley, and Saklıkent Canyon, the region requires at least 2-3 days. For those who want to experience paragliding, it is more logical to plan a full day with the Babadağ flight.

Starting from Fethiye city center, you can first visit Ölüdeniz Blue Lagoon, then walk or take a minibus to Belcekiz Beach. After swimming at the beach in the afternoon, you can try one of the water sports centers for an active experience. Finishing the day with a fish dinner at a restaurant in Ölüdeniz remains a classic but effective option.

For those planning paragliding, scheduling the Babadağ flight for early morning and beach relaxation for the afternoon provides a more suitable sequence both physically and logistically.

Waves at Belcekiz Beach can be stronger compared to the Blue Lagoon; if you are with small children, it is recommended to prefer shallow areas. The sun is quite scorching in summer; high-factor sunscreen and a hat should definitely be with you.

Since paragliding landings occur on the beach, there are designated areas for landing in certain regions; be careful not to stand in these spots. Asking for prices from businesses on the beach in advance prevents surprise fees often encountered during the season.
