The structure, restored in 2008, was damaged in the 2023 earthquake and has been repaired again. Its proximity to Bakırcılar Bazaar places it at the heart of Gaziantep's historical trade district. Inside, there are approximately 73 shops; you'll find numerous options selling jewelry, silver, spices, nuts, souvenirs, and local products. Shops offering unusual items like wooden puzzle games also attract attention. The bazaar is easier to navigate compared to other historical areas in its vicinity, such as Elmacı Pazarı and Bakırcılar Bazaar, as it has a more organized structure.

After arriving at the city center from Gaziantep bus terminal by city minibus or dolmuş, you can reach it on foot using Gaziantep Castle as a reference. Taxis or car rental are also practical options; there is paid parking nearby. It takes approximately 20 minutes from Gaziantep Airport to the city center.

Zincirli Bedesten stands right in the middle of Gaziantep's rich cultural layer in the historical center. Within a few minutes' walk are Gaziantep Castle, Bakırcılar Bazaar, and various historical inns. Gaziantep Zeugma Mosaic Museum is also within visiting distance on the same day; however, we recommend allocating at least 2–3 hours specifically for the museum.
