The historic bazaar area in Odunpazarı district is also nearby; there are ample options for both local food and coffee breaks.

The TCDD Museum is not a full-day destination in Eskişehir; an average visit of 30–45 minutes is sufficient. It can easily be incorporated into a half-day program by combining it with other museums and historical sites.

It makes sense to consider it as part of an itinerary that includes Odunpazarı Houses, the Porsuk River banks, and other museums in the city. For those visiting the city for only one day, it can be planned as the first stop in the morning.
