The Yıldırım Complex, which gave its name to Bursa's Yıldırım district, was established by Sultan Bayezid I in the late 14th century on a hill overlooking the Silk Road, to the east of the city. From the complex, the Yıldırım Mosque, Yıldırım Madrasah, Yıldırım Hospital, Yıldırım Tomb, and this bathhouse have survived to the present day. The structure stands on Cümlekapı Street, west of the Yıldırım Mosque; over time, it has become surrounded by houses that have risen around it.

The dome covering the cold room has a diameter of 8.30 meters, while the dome of the hot room is approximately four meters. One of the doors opening from the changing room leads to the warm room, and the other to the toilet.
