Mihraplı Bridge

Mihraplı Bridge is a historical stone bridge built on the old Bursa-Karacabey caravan road in Bursa's Nilüfer district. It takes its name from the mihrab-shaped carved decorations on the bridge. This detail gives the structure both an aesthetic and symbolic identity.

The most striking feature of the bridge is that it is no longer submerged in water due to the regulation and alteration of the Nilüfer Stream's bed. Today, no water flows under the bridge; the structure stands on dry ground. This allows visitors to comfortably examine and photograph the bridge from every angle.
