Altınbeşik Cave is located approximately 5 kilometers southeast of Ürünlü Neighborhood in the İbradı district of Antalya province, on the steep and deep western slope of the Manavgat Valley. The cave takes its name from the golden-colored limestone formations in its surroundings. Opened to tourism in 1995, this underground wonder is protected within the boundaries of Altınbeşik Cave National Park.
The most striking feature of the cave is its underground lake, which extends approximately 125 meters from the entrance. Visitors cross this lake by boat to reach the inner sections of the cave. Altınbeşik Cave is a natural formation that attracts attention as Turkey's largest and Europe's third-largest underwater cave. Visitors enter the cave in groups by boat; during this tour, which lasts approximately 15-20 minutes, you can explore the first 200-meter section of the cave. The water inside is described as extremely clean and clear; some visitors also mention the mineral structure of the water. Wearing helmets and life jackets is mandatory.
The cave's internal temperature remains around 16-18 degrees Celsius year-round; therefore, it is recommended to bring a light layer of clothing to wear. The surrounding pine forests and karst structure also make the road leading to the cave visually interesting. Toilets and a small buffet are available at the entrance point.
Points to note:- The cave may be closed to visitors in spring and winter due to rising water levels; during periods when it is open, the last entry time is 16:30. If you are coming from a long distance, it is important to confirm the hours in advance.
- Pricing is two-tiered: a fee per vehicle is charged at the national park entrance (approximately 225 TL for a car), and a per-person boat fee is also applied (approximately 350 TL). The national park entrance only accepts cash. There are no group or student discounts.

The most common way to reach the cave is via the route passing through Manavgat. When heading from Manavgat towards İbradı, you will encounter a scenic but winding mountain road; patient and careful driving is essential on this road. Access is also possible via the Akseki district.
The cave is approximately 13.5 km from İbradı town center and about 4 km from Ürünlü Neighborhood. Since there is no regular public transport line in the region, a private vehicle or an organized tour is the most practical option. Full-day guided tours departing from Side and Manavgat offer transportation and guiding services together; a good alternative for those without a car.
