Mir Hasan Veli Madrasah offers a unique atmosphere with its location within the cemetery area and the surrounding mountain silhouette. The facade details of the structure, stone masonry, and the tomb door are the most striking points for photography. In the late afternoon, the light reflecting from the mountains adds a warm tone to the structure. It is possible to frame both the madrasah and the mountain view in the background with a wide-angle lens.

The road to Bahçesaray is mountainous and long; refuel your tank before leaving Van. Due to the possibility of road closures in winter, plan your visit for spring or autumn.
