Çorumi Mustafa Bey Mosque

Çorumi Mustafa Bey Mosque was built by Çorumi Mustafa Bey in 1687 in the market center of Hayrabolu. The structure is also known as Hasip Bey Mosque. This work, dating back to the second half of the 17th century, constitutes a concrete example of the Ottoman period's religious architectural heritage in Thrace. Today, it is among the registered historical artifacts within the borders of Tekirdağ province.

The mosque has a square plan. This plan scheme is a common arrangement in 17th-century Ottoman mosque architecture. Located right in the center of Hayrabolu's market, the structure is integrated with the surrounding urban fabric. Although it has undergone various repairs over the centuries, it largely preserves its original character.

The most suitable times to visit Hayrabolu are the spring and autumn months. Given the hot climate of Thrace in the summer months, visits made in the early morning hours are more comfortable. The mosque is busy during Friday prayer times; if you want a quiet and peaceful visit, choose times outside of these hours.

There is a distance of approximately 50 km from Tekirdağ city center to Hayrabolu. Regular bus services operate between the two districts. After reaching Hayrabolu, you can walk to the mosque through the market or take a short taxi ride. Those coming by private car can look for parking near the mosque on Malkara Street.

Shoes: Shoes are not allowed inside the mosque; you must remove your shoes at the entrance. Attire: Female visitors are expected to wear a headscarf and body-covering clothing. Since Hayrabolu is located on the route extending from Tekirdağ to Malkara, it makes a logical stopover for a Thracian tour that can be combined with these two districts.
