Any time of year is suitable for visiting İstasyon Bridge; however, April-June and September-October offer the most comfortable period in terms of both air temperature and natural light. Amasya can be quite hot in mid-summer; therefore, it is wiser to prefer early morning hours for July-August visits.

As the sun descends, the Yalıboyu Mansions and the stone arches of the bridge reflected in the waters of the Yeşilırmak take on the appearance of a painting. It is only a 5-minute walk from Amasya Train Station; the station's name clearly indicates its proximity to the bridge. Within the city, minibuses and dolmuşes frequently use the Ziya Paşa Boulevard route. If you are coming by car, it is possible to find parking on the boulevard or in nearby streets. Amasya's historical center is pedestrian-friendly, so you can easily walk to the bridge from any point around Hatuniye Neighborhood or Yalıboyu.

From here, you can visit Ottoman-era structures such as Kapı Ağa Madrasa and Mehmet Paşa Mosque.

In the afternoon, you can visit the Amasya Museum to explore the city's archaeological heritage, then walk towards the King Rock Tombs. To complete the day, returning to the bridge in the evening to enjoy the sunset view will create one of the most beautiful memories Amasya will leave you with. This entire route can be easily completed on foot.

Restaurants and cafes immediately around İstasyon Bridge and along Yalıboyu offer great opportunities to explore Amasya cuisine. Amasya apple is the region's most known product; apple desserts and apple-based drinks can be found in many cafes.

Since İstasyon Bridge serves active traffic and pedestrian crossings, it is necessary to pay attention to vehicle and pedestrian traffic when taking photos. Stopping on the bridge and taking photo poses for a long time can obstruct other passages during busy hours; therefore, preferring early morning hours offers both calmer and better light conditions.

The water level of the Yeşilırmak rises in spring; during this period, the bridge's piers may be partially submerged, and some areas on the riverbank may be wet or slippery. If you are walking in Amasya's historical center, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes; cobblestone streets can be tiring with high heels.
