Afyonkarahisar Museum

Afyonkarahisar Museum is located in the city center, directly opposite Zafer Park. It brings together 8,500 years of history under one roof, starting from the Chalcolithic period and extending to the Early Republican era. In the museum, which spans a large area, you can see many different collections such as sarcophagi from the Roman and Byzantine periods, multimedia galleries depicting the War of Independence, and ethnographic artifacts. From Çeşmeli Konak, a short walk will take you to Mısri Mosque. This Ottoman mosque, built in 1483, stands out with its cut rubble stone masonry and two large domes. Kadınana Tombs
