The most enjoyable period to visit Tekirdağ is between April-June and September-October. During these seasons, the weather is neither too hot nor too cold; you can comfortably explore the museum garden. A logical sequence is as follows: Tekirdağ Archaeology and Ethnography Museum (and Orta Çeşme in its garden) → Rakoczi Museum → Monument of Liberty → coastline. All these points are within walking distance of each other and can be comfortably completed in half a day.

Tekirdağ is a city known for its meatballs. After visiting Orta Çeşme, Tekirdağ meatballs should definitely be tried at the restaurants in the city center. Due to Tekirdağ being a wine region, local raki and wine are also among the unique tastes of the region. Cafes and restaurants along the coast offer good options for lunch or dinner with views of the Marmara Sea.

Orta Çeşme is a structure very suitable for photography within the greenery of the museum garden. For those who want to document the stone craftsmanship and inscription of the fountain with close-ups, natural light at midday yields good results. For framing the museum garden generally, a wide-angle shot can be preferred. The exterior of the museum and the garden arrangement are also interesting photo subjects during the visit.
