The mosque in Ordu was built during the Republican era and has no connection to Mimar Sinan's work. Nevertheless, it holds historical value in its own right.
The detail that makes the mosque truly special is its mihrab. The mihrab of the Orta Mosque, built in the 18th century, was later placed in this new structure. Although the main body of the mosque is new, the corner where prayers are performed carries a two-hundred-year history. When exploring Ordu city center, it can be considered a brief stop on Taş Ocak Street.
